BodyBeast Day 58 Bulk Chest…and last of blogging…

I admit it, I’m not up to date on my blogging. The fact is, is that I hate it. I’m more into the video aspect of it and puting them up on youtube. I pretty much say everything in my video that I’m writing down here. But I really need to force myself to blog more, even if it’s just on my workout routine. But anyway…

Today I had a great chest workout. I upped the weight’s in some of the exercises and even suprised myself on getting through the rep’s or barely getting through them but finishing them nonetheless. On the incline press, the first round, I upped the weight to 25lbs on the last 8 reps. Now last week I did just 20lbs and I think that was because, well no, I know that was because of lack of sleep. I had been going to bed way to late, around midnight, and just feeling horribly tired in the morning which would carry over into my workout’s. I should’ve known better but didn’t listen to myself. So the first half of last week sucked but I can’t blame anyone but myself. Anyway, I got through the 8 rep’s using 25lbs. Now I hadn’t anticipated upping the weight for this next exercise, the chest press w/rotation but remember last week when I did these with 20’s and got through it rather easily. So decided to up the weight to 25 this time. I did struggle the last set of 5 rep’s and I’m sure my form went a little wacky but did manage to finish it so I was pleased with how that went. As for the rest of the workout, I kept the weight the same but focussed more on going slower or trying to  go slower on the negative. Keeping the chest tight as I was doing the rep’s so I could really feel it afterward’s. I got through it and really, really felt good. I felt good about this workout so I’m going to strive to do this again. This is the last week of the bulk phase of the program. I’m suppose to go into beast mode for the next three week’s but I haven’t made a deffinate decision whether to do one more week of bulk then jump into beast or just continue on as planned. I’ll probably make that descision near the end of the week. I do plan on doing this program all over again. I’ll take a week off then start it up again. So we’ll see….either way it was a great workout tonight. I gotta upload this video and paste it in here so I’ll do that now. Again, for those who read these, I appreciate it. I know I’ve slacked off from doing this because it’s either to late or that I’m just to lazy to get on here and write. But again this is something that I need to start doing more.
